Header Design
Updated: So you wanna be a hero huh? Download the file; look it over; then start designing. Design requirements are to use navy blue as a predominant color scheme base, you must have other colors of white or silver or chrome effects, and have the appearance of one of the following: movement, speed, rippling water (as in the original logo), or a combination of any.
I would like a logo that represents the original VeX Logo (vex.gif) and takes it to a new modern level. Let's see what U got.

This might have been a little unclear... the first big file (logos_archive) is my collection of the best VeX logos over the history of the Clan. Our original was vex.gif. The masthead-image is the template for our site's skin. Using the former as a base for design, and the latter for your canvas, you have everything you need (except Photoshop) to create a worthy VeX banner.
I am working on it too, but slowly. After all, look at all I've already done this month. LOL!

1 more thing.
I just noticed that the masthead is anchored on the right. That means that your logo placement should be on the right as well. Why? Because if the page shrinks, the part that will get shrunken-upon is on the left. If you put your artwork on the left, it could be and will be obscured by the site wall. So to avoid that... put your logo "VeX Clan" text on the right side of the canvas. C-ya.

Hey, since i'm not a computer genius, can i make a suggestion... well i'm going to anyways. i think that the header should be a flash, so it like moves... like us killing things in all our games, like CoD and WoW if it's coming back... that would be soo cool, and if not that could be the intro, we could have a skull full of death for the artwork in the right hand corner, like all bloody and creepy..... :D yeah that would be pretty sick. make it all bloody and nar....

You know, that's a damn
You know, that's a damn great idea. Flash is a bit harder to work than a regular picture. But I think if we had some animation up there it would be a good thing. Problem is, we only have like two or three people that know Flash. Wanna learn?
