You want to rename the Chit-Chat forum? What's your vote?

For some reason, this name just doesn't appeal to me. Might be due to the fact that "Chit-Chat" reminds me of this old strip club near my old house. :lol: The name doesn't attract me to read posts here. Am I the only one that feels this way? Can we pick a name that better describes our common grounds.

I'll submit some ideas later.

I think Chit-chat is a good name lol. Better then "general chat..."

I dunno I dont think its bad but there could be better I guess. Hmm I guess Bullshitting is out eh? lol

How about The Listening Post?

hmmm, actually Zadam I think that's the perfect name for the section. "Bullshitting", it has a great ring to it. Besides that's what the threads in here are doing anyway. No no i'm just joking around. But I do have a name for the section. The Mess Hall. It's usually the place where the soldiers, boy scouts, whatever, talk about anything. That's basically what we do in chit-chat right now and it best represents the sort of "military" theme the clan has going. What do you guys think?

So far I've heard, "Listening Post" and "Mess Hall." Compared to the preppy "Chit-Chat" both sound military. However, a mess hall is where you eat. We don't do F&B here. If we did you'd all have KP duty. LOL!

That said, I like "Listening Post" a lot. Does anyone here (besides Kresh) know what a Listening Post really is?

Too bad they dont have some kind of combination of an Officers and a NonCom club, that would be purfect if it existed.

Well the closest thing I have found would be The Day Room.A base usually has a few of these.This is where troops read, have discussions, and do other non-military social functions.
