VeX Core
The Cabinet - Seat holders are permanent
1. Veto Authority
2. Directors over the path of WN as a whole.
3. Authority over section leader selection and direction of those sections.
The Board - Seat holders are elected.
1. Each seat holder is responsible for their position duties.
2. Vote to elect a new Seat holder.
VeX Officers - Members ranked 2nd Lieutenant or above can be elected to a VeX Officer seat, or Vex Core (the Board) seat.
Officer Rank - Voted on by section, if section has more than 10 active members, otherwise, clan vote.

Please remember; these are just ideas of how things should be done. Decisions will be made with a vote.

I like the structure. I thought Epag was gonna make it even more complex. but heh... This is better. Veto.. Yeah! What 'PR' stands for? Public Relations? Also I am guessing the Leader is above the Cabinet?

IRC doesn't really feel like a main category. Might wanna take that out. Other than that I like the titles.

Just got back from a trip.

IRC isn't a main category, but I do think the two IRC-related seats should be grouped together as IRC Staff. When VeX does get bigger and we start to occupy a IRC Channel on a daily basis, we will need staff to keep the channel running smoothly, hosting bots, etc...

So form one IRC group from the two groups. The number of positions in that group will depend... 6-8 would be OK, if those 6-8 members are active and can moderate the channel often.

Explanation; VeX Structure is a project to construct a ranking structure that will help in the management and efficiency of the clan.

The structure is still incomplete but with summer upon us, its the best possible time to finish this important project. Let me explain a few parts of the structure.

VeX Core
This is the title of the structure, as every great structure deserves a great name.

The Cabinet
This is the highest level on the structure and has three seats. It was discussed that the seat holders were permanent. Please post input on this 'point.' This level doesn't have 'sub-levels' as seen with 'the Board' and 'VeX Officers,' just three seats that make up the leadership of the clan.
[i]The idea behind the cabinet was to split the clan leader position into three positions to handle the expansion of the clan.

The Board
The Board consists of 6 seats; with each seat reigning over a department. Each seat has a set of responsibilties to handle. Seat holders are elected by the clan and will have to work to keep their seat. Slacking off, inactivity, etc... will result in the seat holder being replaced by a new person.

VeX Officers
VeX Officers consist of several levels. The directors of these levels are depicted above in 'The Board'. VeX Officers handle the tasks for their department and/or tasks given by their superiors.

VeX Officers are assigned their position by either a section or clan vote, depending on the seat. The Board seats are assigned by a clan vote.

We would like to have the structure completed within a few weeks (1-3 weeks) then we will put the structure into effect in pieces.

No seats have been assigned, not even the highest seats.

Seats will be assigned when the structure is implemented. Some seats will not be opened for assigning until the clan meets specific prerequisites.

(example: Web Team seats will not be available until the clan has 3 sections and each section has at least 10 active members)

So, the answer to your question, You just might have a seat on this tree of power.
