Ranking in the clan

This is a little section about how you get rank in our clan. First you will most likly (acctually prolly never) get to Private on the first day. This takes time as you will learn.
If you think you are worthy of a new rank talk to Die now your section leader. He must then talk to the higher ups. So basicly dont expect the ranks to come free, you must work and work hard for your rank. It took a long while for us to get to our ranks.
As you can see from the dates we joined (in the members part) we have been around for a long time though thick and thin. We have toughed it out this long and prolly will for a long time to come.
If you would like to increase your rank you will do what ever you can to help the clan such as recruting new members.

Our ranking goes as follows. Private -> Private First Class (PFC) -> Lance Corporal (LCpl) -> Corporal (Cpl) -> Sergeant (Sgt) -> Staff Sergeant (SSgt) -> Gunnery Sergeant (GySgt) -> ect. if you really wish to persue it further go to http://www.defenselink.mil/specials/insignias/ and scroll to the bottom and click enlisted and look under the marines.

Sorry, but thought I should point out, we have different views and our knowledge differs by what we know, and do not about what the rules are for gaining and losing rank.Maybe it would be best if the section leaders met with the brass and set the record strait so we will not have conflicting views of what the ranking system is or isnt.Just a thought.

Ranking in the clan

Ghost,

Arsis DID come to me and talk about how ranking and promotion works around here. He asked all kinds of questions and I answered them. The result of our conversation was his post, above.

You said, "we have different views and our knowledge differs by what we know, and do not about what the rules are for gaining and losing rank."

It is a very confusing and vague sentence, but what I'm getting as your point is: you think there are different rules for promotion according to some unnamed standard. I can assure you that is not the case.

Promotion and Demotion are the same clan-wide. The RANKS may not be exactly the same in each section, or for each player in each section. BUT the WAY we assign, determine and award Promotions and Demotions is DEFINITELY the same clan-wide.

If you have specific questions you need me to clear up, this is the time and place to do it.
