what would we use it for?

mIRC

oh its a chat channel. its a necesity for any league clan. heh some leagues even require you to have one. its free, and everybody uses it so traveling from one chat channel to another clans chat channel, etc, is just a command away. Mirc and Teamspeak are severely needed if we're gonna get anywhere. I plan to make it mandatory cause communication needs to be pumped up a lot for an active league team, which is what i plan to create. i already have been looking around new leagues, not the oldskool TWL, OGL, or CAL. although i woundlt mind joining those again theres a bunch of ill new ones I would check out. But all this is in the future, hopefully the short future, as in a few weeks. But members is the main priority right now so I've been doing some public affairs so they can come to us, and I'm scouting and looking for players I'd want on the team.

Yeah, I knew what IRC is, I just wanted to know how you plan on using it. I understand using a mic for teamspeak during game play, but what is the IRC channel going to be used for? Or when is it going to be used? Maybe a dumb question but since VeX already has (I think) an IRC channel, we should make use of it.

What kind of public affairs stuff are you doing? :D

mIRC

well a place for clan members to idle and chat in b4 matches or scrims or practices or what not and whenever.

advertising.

Don't think we ever decided on a channel/server. There are numerous posts stating IRC details: one for quakenet, one for rizon, and maybe even one for irchighway.

Let's see what Whitegoat does with IRC. VeX has little to no experience with using IRC as a communication tool. We could end up using IRC as our secondary communications program.

mIRC

yea its extremely popular in the clan community.
