make sure you download the CLIENT, and NOT the SERVER.

OK I got ventrillo. Very cool, because AA really needs voice chat too.

here's my deal: at home i have dialup, i can chat and check email and that 's it. at work, i have a cable modem that's outside the corporate network, so i can play any time i have free time. so there u go. i'm crazy like that.

team communication: teamspeak

i have ventrillo, it is uber awesome and i beleive you can buy a server for real cheap

team communication: teamspeak

No need to waste money. Looked into some Ventrilo hosts that charge $5 per slot, crazy I say.

I'll setup a Ventrilo and/or Teamspeak server. Although, we need to make one our default voice communications medium.

team communication: teamspeak

Sadly, The public version of the Ventrilo server only allows 8 clients at a time. I'll send details as soon as I get home from school, that is if you guys want to use the public version.

hm.... wow, gay.... 8 people???

team communication: teamspeak

better then nothing. after all consider leagues require under
8 players it would be perfect. but that would mean wed only use it during scrims or matches.

I have never seen a game with 8 players that worked coherently. If would could use those 8 slots, I think it would be more than enough. Don't poo-poo it until we try it out.

team communication: teamspeak

Since we are limited in the slots available on Ventrilo. We can use TeamSpeak in daily usage as it supports ... unlimited clients for free?

So... how does that sound?

QUOTE:"I have never seen a game with 8 players that worked coherently."

what do you mean? 8 players on a team? games work perfectly with 3 4 5 or 6 players on a team. leagues have 3v3, 5v5, 6v6, 7v7....

team communication: teamspeak

yea teamspeak definitely then
