Member Limits

Should members be limited to the number of sections they can be active in?

example:
Member A currently active in two sections and wants to join Section A. Member A would have to resign from one of the two sections that Member A is currently active in to be eligable to join Section A.

It could be seen as a useless limit or as a tool to focus members time.

Thats a negative. It's wrong to limit people to just one section. You got to let them see what they like, and if they like one more than the others they will eventually lessen with the other games and stick with the one they most enjoy.

PS: Give translations for your Member A, Section A thing. It took me a few times reading to understand what you were saying.

PPS: I been since '99 Punk!!!! Outwars all da way!

Member Limits

The single reason I bring up member limits is to stop members who say,
"Hey I got that game, but it's still in the wrapper, add me to the roster"
And they end up never participating in the section.

The alternative to limiting members would be to force section leaders to moderate their members activity and penalize those who are inactive for a period of time.

And...
What was your callsign back in '99? Didn't see DiE_NoW on any of the member lists. Figured you joined between the Winter of '99 and Spring of '00. And besides, how many active members can claim they have been in the clan as an active member since '00?

Back on Yahoo groups? I was there! And yeah... The person actually has to play one game with other clan members in order to be part of that game section. <(I think)

I can claim.
