Video Card overheating?
Perhaps you are experiencing a driver malfunction or dll corruption.
Could you tell us what the Bluescreen error says?
computer
i would love to tell u what the blue screen says but its gone within 1 second :(. anyway i put in my old card ati radeon 9000 pro and everything works fine again. i think the chipset might be broken.

im feel for ya man.. I got a radeon 9000 Family... Its horrible. I wanted a new card but sepnt too much money on new keyboard, mouse and mousepad... Now i have to wait a few months ^_^ I really wanted to beta test Counter-Strike Source too....
computer
Yeah, I feel for you too. Video Card problems are a total bitch.
A few questions I should ask are:
When was the first time you saw this happen? How long ago?
How long does the computer stay on before it blue-screens?
Open the case and make sure the card is seated tightly and screwed down. Nothing loose, right?
I have Geforce FX 5900xt and it's been crashing like a big, giant BIOTCH. I have perused and searched and tried like ten different drivers from nVidia. I installed and uninstalled... i even built a whole new system on a new hard drive! It still crashes.
One thing you should try is going into the driver properties (right-click on desktop, properties, settings, advanced) and then click on the Troubshoot tab. In there, you should turn EVERYTHING in hardware acceleration off, scale back the slide bar to the far left, and uncheck and "write-combining" boxes or any other check box. Restart and see if the bluescreen comes back.
While you're in there, make note of your driver versions, the video card ram bios version and other things you might need later.

1. the first time was at a lan 2 months ago.
2. if i dont play a game it stays on for years without problems but when i start counterstrike it emidiatly shuts down. When i play doom 3 it takes 15 minutes before it shuts down :S.
3. yea everything was thightly screwd down and the lock was on it.

Tyr this: Go to your display properties, hit Advanced, then look for the Troubleshot tab. Slide the little slide bar all the way to the left (or None) and disable Write Combining. Restart and play for a while.
See if that make any difference at all. If it fixes the problem, we know we're onto something. If not, disregard this post.
