[POSITION][The Board] Engineer

The Engineer heads the Engineering department, real creative. This position manages the web designers, graphic artists, web developers, etc..., and makes sure the website, and any additional services hosted by VeX is working correctly.

tasks
--------
Engineer oversees the web site staff, irc staff, and ...
" creates new tasks for his subordinates to work on
" handles any errors and bug reports

An engineer has to be a jack-of-all-trades, but not necessarly a grandmaster of one specific skill.

[POSITION][The Board] Engineer

Should this position be given full-access to the website?

IMO, Yes, if we want someone to fix errors, we will have to give the person that holds this position access to the website.

Should this position be given access to the Domain Control Panels?

IMO, No, the people who paid for a domain should be in charge of maintaining that domain. If VeX has a nameserver change, those people should be contacted.

Sounds good to me.

[POSITION][The Board] Engineer

Should we vote on a new Engineer once a year?

It takes time for a new engineer to become familiar with the duties of the position and to make an impact on the clan.

If, and When, the clan needs a new host, who should be in charge of finding the new host?
