Seems like things are very quiet. Mayhem and I took the time to saw thru some noob on Happy Penguin. We both had 1.5 kill ratios or nearly. Mayhem was probably more like 1.8 lol! I didn't take a screenshot, but I tell u... I got my latency issues fixed and my apparent skill has jumped a level or three. Come play with me!!!

The future of web publishing is CMS and the future of CMS is Drupal, argues Tom Arah

Last month, I looked at the real-world problems of maintaining a traditional static HTML website and decided that the best solution for most users is to turn to a scalable CMS (content management system). So, this month, I'm going to look at how to implement Drupal (http://drupal.org), generally recognised as the most powerful open-source CMS. Get ready for a bumpy ride.

The first hurdle is the name Drupal; pronounced 'droo-puhl', it's as bad a brand name as you could devise, suggestive of gentle decline at best, while its slogan 'community plumbing' just makes things worse. The origin of the name is hardly confidence-inspiring either. Drupal was created in 2000 by Dries Buytaert as a small news site with a built-in web-board so a group of University of Antwerp students could discuss which pub to go to. After graduating, they decided to put the site online and Dries registered the domain drop.org after mistyping his intended choice of dorp.org, Dutch for 'village'. The Dutch for drop is 'druppel', which Anglicised becomes drupal.

It's funny to me that the video has really nothing to do with the song lyrics. If you do a little research on the whole Breeg thing, you will see it's not really about what the video portrays. It seems to me like the video portrays the band, Iron Maiden, and their needs and desires to be #1, or at least to go on, etc. (Which they have done, don't get me wrong).

From what I can tell, CoD3 will release mid-November for just about every platform EXCEPT for PC? Is that accurate information?

If so, why would they exclude the PC folks? Game too demanding? What? I'm a little upset, even though I still play CoD1.5... lol!

Still tired, because I've been mowing down every site I own and basically updating the board and/or putting drupal on there. There really isn't anything this board can't do. Makes Nuke and phpBB look dated and clumsy in execution all the way down to the code level.
